How to apply for a microfinance loan in Tanzania

1. First contact — Meet a loan officer in your community or visit a branch.
2. Group formation & eligibility — For groups: 10–30 women within 1km.
3. Home visit — A loan officer visits to understand household and business.
4. Document verification — NIDA card plus local verification.
5. Application form — Completed with officer support.
6. Review, approval & disbursement — Starting from TSh 500,000.
